set into an industrial loft style space softened with luxurious lounges, vintage wallpaper, eclectic light fittings, lace and curtains and most comfortable armchairs, is the place to kick back and enjoy one of our reknowned signature cocktails.
mezzanine lounge
the mezzanine level is the most sort after spot in barsoma. it is a private area that overlooks the main room and includes a private bar with professional cocktail bartender. its capacity is a comfortable 80 people however it can be stretched to 100 easily.
this area does have space hire + a min spend but it is available for the entire night. however, if the group is less than 30 people, half the mezzanine can be booked for half the price. be aware that the other half can be booked by another group thus two groups would share the space.

deposit: $250 (which will be used towards food or drinks ie. needs to be spent at barsoma)
min spend: $1000 including deposit, all food + all beverages.

a comfy lounge area situated near the front entrance, along the front windows of barsoma and a stone throw away from our bar.

dance floor lounge
this lounge is situated in a semi private corner of barsoma. it is our smallest lounge area and definitley the most intimate.

courtyard lounge
this lounge is situated outside in our courtyard a few metres from our smoking area so perfect if you like the outdoors and you have a few smokers in the group.

barsoma is available for private hire from early to late on sunday, monday, tuesday and wednesday.

we like to keep things relaxed and idyllic here at soma and would like to make your night as easy and stress free as possible. so all you need to decide is how much you would like to spend and we will do the rest, we will satisfy all your expectations and desires and together design the perfect plan for your night.
our tapas consist of – hand made spring rolls + curry puffs with handmade sweet chilli sauce, katafi wrapped chicken with plum sauce, garlic + cream prawns, rosemary lamb + honey soy chicken skewers, japanese crumbed mushroom balls stuffed with cream cheese, chives and sundried tomato, salt and pepper squid and prosciutto wrapped haloumi.
platters are available for $50 each with 30 pieces of food.
